Samantha Stratton is the elected Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Beech Grove, where she oversees the city’s finances, records, and day-to-day administrative operations with a strong focus on transparency, accountability, and service to residents.

In her role, Samantha manages municipal budgets, payroll, utilities, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with Indiana law and State Board of Accounts standards. She works closely with City Council, department heads, and boards to support responsible fiscal planning and clear public communication. As Clerk of the Beech Grove Sewage Utility, she also helps guide long-term infrastructure planning and rate analysis to protect essential services.

Beyond City Hall, Samantha is involved in the Beech Grove community. She is an active volunteer with local organizations, helps coordinate citywide events, and supports initiatives that bring residents together, strengthen local businesses, and invest in public spaces. Her work reflects a belief that local government should be accessible, responsive, and rooted in the needs of the people it serves.

Samantha brings a unique professional background to public service, with degrees in news and radio and film, and prior experience in media and operations. She applies those skills to make government information clearer, processes more efficient, and public engagement more meaningful.
